The event will be held at the initiative of Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus with the support of National Academy of Sciences and other official ministries and departments of Belarus. On the Russian side the event will be held with the support and with the participation of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and Atomstroyexport JSC.

The purpose of «AtomExpo-Belarus» is to present innovative technologies of designing, construction, operation and safety provision of NPP, to discuss issues of preparation to power generating unit construction, creation of favorable public opinion on nuclear power plant construction as well as promotion of development of staff training system for nuclear power industry in the Republic.

IV International Exhibition and «Prospects for the Development of Nuclear power industry in the Republic of Belarus» Conference will be held within the framework of «AtomExpo-Belarus 2011». Plenary and break-out sessions, round tables, seminars and presentations dedicated to a wide range of problems of nuclear power industry development in Belarus will be conducted in the scope of the Conference.

The Conference program assumes participation and presentations of managers from the republican bodies of state administration and organizations participating in implementation of nuclear power plant construction project in Belarus, representatives of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and Atomstroyexport JSC.
